Next week on March 5 we will have a Vaping Presentation to 7th and 8th grade students. 7th graders will be from 1:00pm - 1:45pm and 8th from 1:50pm - 2:30pm.

"Jennifer Kelsey, Advance Practice Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, with OSF HealthCare has a passion for education and has been providing this presentation to junior high school students throughout north-central Illinois. The goal of the presentation is to educate students about the dangers of vaping by describing the hazardous chemicals found in the vaping liquid and the negative side effects vaping can have on the human body, especially the adolescent body."
Due to ice covered rural bus routes, Midland Schools will be operating on a two hour late start. Buses will arrive two hours later than normal. All buildings will be open by 9:45am. There is no morning pre k at the elementary school.
The Midland School Board set the date and time for the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony at their January board meeting. The ceremony will take place on May 23, 2019 at 7pm. The ceremony will be held in the Middle School gymnasium. Parking is limited, please consider carpooling.
